I-40 Collision Results in Fatality
Oldham County, TX(July 15, 2024) – 80-year-old Virginia Leutkahans was fatally injured in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 40 early Today.
It was about 2:01 a.m. when a pickup was westbound on the highway. At the same time, Leutkahans, wearing dark clothing was walking west in the outside lane.
The pickup driver attempted to avoid her but wasn’t able to do so.
Responding officers declared Virginia Leutkahans deceased on the scene.
Investigators believe the victim had a car crash before being struck.
