Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash with Chevy Avalanche on Highway 99

Chico, CA (September 26, 2024) On Wednesday, a motorcycle rider was hurt and hospitalized after a violent traffic crash on Highway 99.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to a collision on Highway 99 near Centerfolds involving a trike motorcycle and a Chevy Avalanche.

Reports say that the motorcyclist sustained a head laceration and was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center as a precaution.

Officials say that the driver of the Avalanche was unharmed.

The CHP has indicated that northbound traffic will be impacted for approximately 15 minutes.

Authorities are investigating the 2-vehicle traffic crash on Highway 99.
