SDPD Investigates Auto-Pedestrian Collision near Pennsylvania Avenue
San Diego, CA (November 10, 2023) On Wednesday afternoon, a pedestrian crash on 6th Avenue left a 74-year-old man with serious injuries.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the auto-pedestrian collision happened around 3:10 p.m. near he south crosswalk of Pennsylvania Avenue.
Officials say that a westbound a Dodge Caravan, driven by a 79-year-old woman on the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue made a left turn and struck the elderly pedestrian.
Authorities say that the man sustained a pelvic fracture, a fractured left arm, and lacerations to his head. Officials say that his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
SDPD’s Traffic Division is investigating the collision.
