Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Suspected Driver near Highland Avenue
HIGHLAND, CA (February 1, 2020) – Authorities arrested Vincent Williams after a fatal DUI crash on 210 Freeway westbound on early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just east of Highland Avenue at approximately 1:23 AM.
Reports showed that Williams, 28, of San Bernardino drove a 2016 white Lexus at approximately 70 miles per hour when he struck the pedestrian who wore dark clothing at the time of the incident.
The pedestrian died at the scene. However, the victim’s identity was not yet released.
Williams was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. An investigation is ongoing.
