Vincent Jaso Facing Multiple Charges after DUI Accident near 15 Freeway
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (March 15, 2019) – Police arrested 34-year-old Vincent William Jaso of Lake Elsinore following a DUI-related hit-and-run crash near Interstate 15.
As per reports, the incident happened on Diamond Drive, shortly before 1:30 AM. Jaso’s vehicle traveled at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for the red light at the southbound intersection, where it collided with another vehicle.
The suspect fled on foot but was spotted running in the area of Auto Center Drive. Police noticed that Jaso had injuries consistent with the collision and arrested him on suspicion of hit-and-run with property damage and driving under the influence.
Jail records show that Jaso was released from the Southwest Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Murrieta Southwest Justice Center on May 15. Additional information will be released following the conclusion of the investigation.
