1 Dead in Hesperia Auto Accident on Interstate 15 near Bear Valley Road

 
HESPERIA, CA (November 24, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a 61-year-old Victorville woman died in a crash on Interstate 15 near Bear Valley Road.
 
The incident involving a gold-colored 2003 GMC Yukon occurred at around 12:30 p.m. in the northbound Interstate 15. Moreover, it happened between Bear Valley Road and Main Street.
 
Upon the officers’ arrival, they found the GMC driver on the right shoulder of the freeway with life-threatening injuries. The CHP officials confirmed that she failed to wear a seatbelt and was ejected.
 
“Despite life-saving measures by CHP officers, the driver succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene,” reports revealed.
 
Meanwhile, the 47-year-old male right-front passenger from Victorville sustained minor injuries.
 
Moreover, the officials said that the SUV traveled north at unknown speeds. Then, the driver let her vehicle veer from the right traffic lane to the dirt shoulder until she lost control. As the Yukon came back to the traffic lanes, it rolled over several times and stopped on the dirt shoulder of Mariposa Road.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities confirmed that drugs or alcohol didn’t play a role in the crash. Also, the Victorville CHP station continues to investigate the incident. They urged anyone with additional details to contact the office at 760-241-1186.
