1 Hurt and 1 Arrested in Atwater Car Accident on Bellevue Road

 
ATWATER, CA (October 29, 2019) – A car accident hurt one person and led authorities to arrest another on Bellevue Road.
 
Authorities came to the scene at around 11:17 p.m. on October 25 in the area of East Bellevue Road and Santa Fe Drive.
 
Andrew Vallejo traveled east in his 2016 Honda Civic on East Bellevue Road and attempted to turn right onto Santa Fe Drive. Vallejo’s impairment caused him to turn too wide and ended up in the eastbound lane of Santa Fe Drive. The Civic hit the front of Victor Medina Jr.‘s 2003 Volkswagen Beetle.
 
The police arrested Andrew Vallejo on suspicion of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Responders took him to Mercy Medical Center with a laceration to his head.
 
Meanwhile, Medina complained of pain but didn’t take any medical treatment at the scene.
