Edgar James McKnight Danny Floyd Ray McKnight Arrested, Victor Camacho Arellano Dead in Yuba City Accident on Howlett Avenue
YUBA CITY, CA (September 13, 2020) – On Friday, Victor Camacho Arellano, 19, died after being dragged by two carjackers attempting to take his father’s vehicle on Howlett Avenue in Yuba City.
Moreover, according to reports, the incident happened at about 9:00 a.m. in the 2700 block of Howlett Avenue.
Subsequently, upon the arrival of the deputies, they found out that the 19-year-old son attempted to stop a pair of attempted car thieves. He tried to stop them by reaching into the vehicle. Unfortunately, he was dragged away.
As a result, the teenager sustained major injuries and received first aid from the deputies. Then, responders took the victim to the hospital, where he later died.
Later, police revealed they took two suspects into custody in connection to the carjacking and dragging incident.
Sutter County Sheriff’s Office detectives booked Edgar James McKnight, 18 and Danny Floyd Ray McKnight, 19 into Sutter County Jail.
Furthermore, the identity of the deceased victim was revealed as Victor Camacho Arellano.
