Fatal Gerber Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 99W near Chard Avenue

GERBER, CA (January 26, 2022) – Friday morning, Victor Baus sustained injuries in a deadly crash on Highway 99W near Chard Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 10:15 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 99W, south of Chard Avenue.

Reports revealed that a northbound 2003 Toyota Tacoma attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway. However, it collided with a 1995 Honda.

Moreover, responders rushed the Honda driver, an 83-year-old Clearlake man to a hospital. However, he later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Toyota driver, 81-year-old Victor Baus to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. Reports confirmed that Victor Baus sustained minor injuries.
