Restaurant Hit by Car on Main Street in Santa Monica
SANTA MONICA, CA (May 26, 2020) – Early Saturday night, a vehicle fled after Shoop’s Deli crash on Main Street in Santa Monica.
According to the Santa Monica Fire Department, two vehicles struck buildings at around 6:00 p.m. The crashes happened on the 2400 block of Main Street and the 900 block of 5th.
Witnesses revealed that the Shoop’s Deli in the 2400 block of Main Street was hit by a Lincoln Navigator. The said car rammed through the front of the establishment and fled.
Due to a lack of details, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. Once available, further information regarding the collision will be released the to public.
