Salinas, CA (July 29, 2023) On Thursday evening, an 80-year-old woman dies and a 78-year-old man was hurt after a vehicle crash on Williams Road.

According to the Salinas PD, the fatal solo-vehicle crash happened around 8:36 p.m. at the intersection of Williams Road and Freedom Parkway.

Reports say that a single vehicle crashed causing major injuries to 2 occupants. Both patients were transported to the hospital, however the 80-year-old woman died of her injuries.

Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the 78-year-old man is now in stable condition.
