Catastrophic Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45 Injures People [Madisonville, TX]

Madisonville, TX (November 25, 2023) On Thanksgiving morning, a catastrophic vehicle crash on Interstate 45 left several people with serious injuries.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), there were 2 separate crashes that happened on Interstate Highway 45 near OSR in Madison County.

Reports say that the 1st crash involved a northbound 2022 Toyota Tacoma that lost control and crashed into the cable barrier, and caught on fire.

Meanwhile, another crash happened when a southbound 2020 Honda Accord veered to the left, then hits the cable barrier, and also caught on fire.

Officials say that all occupants of both vehicles were airlifted to different area hospitals for possible serious injuries.

DPS is investigating the major traffic accident and have not released additional information at this time.
