HCSO Deputy and 2 Other People Hurt in Disastrous Traffic Collision on I-10
Baytown, TX (January 12, 2024) On Thursday morning, a vehicle crash on Interstate 10 left an HCSO deputy and 2 other people injured.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the traffic collision happened at about 7 a.m. on I-10 in Channelview.
Reports say that the deputy was responding to a different traffic crash when a large work truck, hauling equipment on a gooseneck trailer, struck the patrol car and drove through the scene.
The crash injured the deputy and 2 other people, medics transported all 3 patients to Memorial Herman Hospital in serious condition.
Authorities are investigating the catastrophic vehicle crash and have not released further information at this time.
