Horrific Vehicle Crash on Highway 85 Injures 3 Children [San Jose, CA]

Palo Alto Man Dies in Tragic Vehicle Accident on SH 85

San Jose, CA (May 3, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a 38-year-old Palo Alto man was killed and 3 children were hurt after a vehicle crash on Highway 85.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the tragic vehicle accident happened around 7 p.m. on State Highway 85 south of Cottle Road.

Reports say that the Palo Alto man was driving a northbound Toyota Sequoia at high speed when the vehicle veered into the median and crashed into the guardrail.

Officials pronounced the man dead at the scene, while 3 minors, ages 2-8 years old were rushed to the hospital after suffering minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the disastrous crash and have not released further details at this time.
