WSP Investigates Violent Traffic Collision on Highway 525
Lynnwood, WA (August 16, 2023) On Sunday evening, a 25-year-old Arlington male driver and a 21-year-old passenger from Marysville were hospitalized after a vehicle crash on Highway 525.
According to Washington State Patrol (WSP), the violent traffic collision happened around 11:30 p.m. on the northbound lanes of Highway 525, on the overpass above Highway 99.
Reports say that a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder struck the driver of a disabled Lexus LS, who is standing outside the disabled vehicle, while the passenger was sitting inside the vehicle.
Medics transported both driver and passenger to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, officials did not disclose the extent of their injuries.
Meanwhile, the 58-year-old Mukilteo driver escaped injuries.
WSP is investigating the violent crash and have not released further information at this time.
