Ford Passenger Killed in US 2 Mercedes Texas Crash
Mercedes, TX (December 17, 2023) – 41-year-old Vanessa Villarreal Moreno of Harlingen was killed in an Interstate 2 collision Friday afternoon.
It was about 4:36 p.m. when the fatal collision happened on the westbound lane of the freeway.
Investigators said a Ford Focus occupied by two women and a Dodge Ram driven by a man were involved in the collision.
The two vehicles collided on the freeway.
The responding medical team rushed the Ford driver to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen in critical condition.
Meanwhile, a Ford passenger, Vanessa Villarreal Moreno, was declared dead at the scene.
DPS is still investigating this fatal Mercedes, Texas accident.
