Edgar Acosta, Michelle Henriksbo, and Aaron Dohman Killed in SR 14 Near Columbia House Boulevard
VANCOUVER, WA (February 11, 2018) – A fatal wrong-way accident occurred just after 1 AM on Sunday morning on the eastbound lanes of State Route 14, just east of Columbia House Boulevard.
Wrong-way driver, Aaron Dohman, was driving at high speeds, when he crashed head-on with another vehicle, driven by Edgar Acosta. A third vehicle was damaged in the crash, but took off before police responded to the scene.
Dohman was critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. 47-year-old Michelle M. Henriksbo, the front passenger in Dohman’s car, was pronounced dead on the scene. Henriksbo was a mother of three and a new grandmother. A passenger in the backseat, 33-year-old Christopher L. Koph, was injured and also taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Acosta died at the scene of the crash.

SR 14 eastbound from I-5 closed for several hours for investigation of the crash site. Officials believe that drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in this fatal accident. They are unsure where the Dohman entered the highway the wrong way.
