Early Morning Pedestrian Crash on Sherman Way in Van Nuys, Injuries Reported
VAN NUYS, CA (March 11, 2019) – A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle early Monday morning in Van Nuys, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 2:37 a.m. on Sherman Way on-ramp near southbound 405 Freeway.
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but Los Angeles Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene.
The pedestrian sustained injuries from the crash and was taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
No information was provided if the car’s driver remained or fled after the crash. It is also unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined.
The incident remains under investigation.
