1 Person Arrested in Brownsville Auto Accident on E 13th and S Frontage Road

BROWNSVILLE, TX (July 11, 2024) – Tuesday night, authorities arrested Valentin Abrego after an alarming DWI crash on E 13th and S Frontage Road.

The incident happened around 11:17 p.m. on E 13th and S Frontage Road.

According to reports, a vehicle ran a red light and crashed.

Moreover, responders transported one person to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the vehicle, identified as Abrego, for intoxication assault with a motor vehicle with a bond set to $25,000.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
