Early Morning Hit-and-Run Crash on 80 Freeway in Vacaville Hurts One
VACAVILLE, CA (March 2, 2019) – One person was hurt following a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning on 80 Freeway in Vacaville.
The crash happened around 3:48 a.m. along the eastbound lanes of the freeway at Cherry Glen Road off-ramp, just West of Lagoon Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Toyota Prius and a black sedan collided for unknown reasons. When officers arrived, one car was in the right shoulder, while the other was on the center divider.
One occupant complained of pain and an ambulance unit was dispatched to give aid.
One of the drivers reportedly fled the scene on foot, but no further details were provided.
At this time, Vacaville police are still investigating the incident and on the lookout for the suspect.
