UKIAH, CA – One Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101

Van and Sedan Collide on Highway 101 in Ukiah, Fatality Reported

 
UKIAH, CA (February 25, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon in Ukiah.
 
The collision happened around 4:06 p.m. along the southbound lanes of Highway 101. A van and a sedan were involved in the crash.
 
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired, but law enforcement responded and recovered both vehicles on the second lane.
 
At least one fatality was found in the scene of the crash and a coroner was notified to pick up the victim’s remains. No identifying information is being released at this time.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
