Pickup Truck Overturns on Highway 101 in Ukiah, Injuries Reported
UKIAH, CA (November 21, 2018) – Two juveniles were injured following a rollover crash Wednesday morning on Highway 101 in Ukiah, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 10:02 a.m. on the southbound direction of the highway near the Calpella on-ramp.
CHP officials said that a blue Dodge Dakota spun out of control and overturned into a hillside. Few other vehicles were recovered in the area, unknown if they were involved in the crash.
Two juveniles, both females, were hurt in the crash. The patients were taken by ambulance to a hospital for proper treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.
The left front wheels of the pickup truck were detached after the crash. A flat bed tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle from the wreckage.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
