Uber Driver Dies in Interstate 10 Collision [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (July 29, 2024) –  An Uber driver was killed in an Interstate 10 collision early Sunday morning.

It was before 4 a.m. when the fatal rear-end crash happened on the east freeway toward the Kress exit.

According to the investigators, an Uber driver stopped his vehicle to see what was wrong with his vehicle. The driver suspected hitting something on the highway’s shoulder.

The driver and the passenger got out of the car to check what was wrong, but then the passenger went back inside of the vehicle and the driver continued his inspection. 

Suddenly, another vehicle, possibly a pick-up truck, rear-ende the Uber driver’s car.

The vehicle end up on top of the driver.

This fatal collision is till under investigation.
