3 Injured in South LA Fatal Crash
Los Angeles, CA (April 25, 2024) – Tyrone Lindqvist, 44, of Garden Grove, lost his life following a West Vernon Avenue collision late Tuesday night.
The fatal vehicle collision happened at 10:35 p.m. in the 1100 block area in South LA.
Investigators said a 2016 Nissan Versa and a 2014 Honda Accord were both eastbound on West Vernon Avenue at high rates of speed. The Versa lost control and crashed into a telephone pole, while the Honda Accord crashed into several vehicles.
Tyrone Lindqvist died at the crash scene.
The 21-year-old woman who was driving the Accord and two other occupants were transported to a hospital in stable condition.
Detectives were investigating a possible crime that has been committed and charges are still pending.
