30-Year-Old Tylor Krout Killed in Clark County Hit-and-Run Car Collision
CLARK COUNTY, WA (September 23, 2019) – Monday morning, 30-year-old Tylor Krout died in a car accident on Hayes Road.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened around 10:50 AM near Northwest 422nd Street. Sheriffs reported a red Nissan Pathfinder that crashed off the road. As a result, it rolled over several times and hit a utility pole before stopping.
First responders arrived at the scene shortly after. Krout, who was a passenger in the SUV, ejected from the vehicle. Officials pronounced Krout dead at the scene.
Authorities stated the Nissan driver walked away from the scene. Eventually, law enforcement tracked him down and arrested him. He is being charged with vehicular homicide and hit-and-run.
The surrounding area closed for a brief time for cleanup and preliminary investigation, but has since reopened. In addition, police did not announce further details regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
