Tyler White Killed in Tragic Traffic Collision on North Watson Road [Arlington, TX]

Arlington, TX (December 16, 2024) On Saturday morning, 31-year-old Tyler White died while 2 other women were hurt in a horrific traffic collision on North Watson Road.

According to the Arlington Police Department (APD), the fatal crash happened early Saturday morning, at about 1 a.m. near Division Street.

Reports say that a fatal crash claimed the life of a 31-year-old man and left two women in critical condition.

Arlington Police reported that White and a 42-year-old woman were struck by a speeding BMW SUV while they were attempting to tow the woman’s disabled vehicle.

Authorities say that the incident began when the woman lost control of her Hyundai Veloster on North Watson Road near Division Street and veered off the roadway. She called White for assistance, and the two began working to secure a tow cable between the Hyundai and White’s GMC Yukon.

Around 1 a.m., a 34-year-old woman driving a BMW X1 at high speed approached the scene and struck White and the woman. Emergency responders arrived to find the victims lying on the ground. Both were rushed to the hospital, where White succumbed to his injuries. The woman remains in critical condition.

The BMW driver also sustained critical injuries and had to be extricated from her vehicle before being hospitalized.

White leaves behind his wife, Breya, and their three children. The Arlington Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances of this tragic crash.
