Police Investigate Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 17 in New River

New River, AZ (August 26, 2022) – Friday morning, 23-year-old Tyler Sessler died in a crash on Interstate 17.

The fatal crash happened on August 26 at milepost 232. 

Police said a box truck hit Sessler, a resident from Cottonwood.

Sessler sustained fatal injuries.

No other information is immediately available.

Further investigation to determine the circumstance of this fatal crash is ongoing.
