Passenger Killed in Lubbock 2-Vehicle Crash
Lubbock, TX (April 19, 2024) – 21-year-old Tyler Obed Thompson from Littlefield was killed following a North CR 1700 collision Thursday night.
The authorities responded before 8 p.m. to the two-vehicle crash in northwest Lubbock.
DPS officers said an SUV was southbound while a passenger car was northbound. The SUV crossed into the northbound lane and collided with the passenger car.
The passenger in the car, Tyler Obed Thompson, sustained serious injuries. He was transported to UMC but he succumbed to his injuries.
Moreover, the drivers of the SUV and the passenger car sustained minor injuries.
DPS officers are investigating this fatal collision.
