Merced College Student Dies in Glen Avenue Vehicle Crash
Merced, CA (October 14, 2023) – Tyler Minor, a student at Merced College, was killed in a vehicle collision on E 21st Street Thursday evening.
The authorities responded to the fatal collision minutes before 6 p.m. at the intersection with Glen Avenue.
Merced College officials said they will support faculty and students through campus resources, including personal counseling for students and their Employee Assistance Program for faculty and classified staff.
Meanwhile, the Merced Police Department said there are no details yet on what caused the traffic accident or if alcohol and/or drugs played a role.
