Tyler Haynes of Vancouver Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 14 [Vancouver, WA]

Cesar Serrano Calles Involved in Highway 14 Accident

Vancouver, WA (December 29, 2021) – On Sunday, 29-year-old Tyler Haynes of Vancouver sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Highway 14.

 Officers received the accident report at 5:45 p.m. near Southeast 164th Avenue.

Investigators said Haynes was driving an eastbound 2005 Ford Focus when she became involved in an accident near Southeast 164th Avenue. 

Afterward, her vehicle became disabled on the left shoulder.

Haynes went out of her car and hopped the barrier. Then, Tyler tried to run across the westbound lanes and a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 35-year-old Cesar Serrano Calles of Vancouver struck her.

Immediately, the paramedics took Haynes to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in unknown condition.

On the other hand, Calles did not sustain injuries in the accident.

Meanwhile, officers are investigating if drugs or alcohol were factors in this accident.
