Two Pedestrians Struck and Hurt in Crestline Accident
CRESTLINE, CA (January 11, 2019) – Two pedestrians were struck in a car crash on Woodland Road in Crestline on Thursday, January 10.
San Bernardino County Fire and California Highway Patrol units responded at the accident at around 12:36 p.m. on Woodland Road where it crosses Crest Forest Drive near the Bear House Family Restaurant.
Medic Engine 25 was at the scene almost instantly, responding from Station 25 across the street. CHP arrived shortly thereafter.
Two female adults were crossing Woodland Drive when they were reportedly struck by a driver in an Isuzu Trooper. One woman was rushed to the hospital by Medic Ambulance 25 after the vehicle allegedly ran over her foot. The other woman was thrown because of the impact but remained uninjured.
The two women were later identified as sisters. However, their names were not immediately available.
Westbound Crest Forest Drive was temporarily closed while CHP conducted their investigation. The roadway was cleared at around 1:00 p.m.
