NORTHRIDGE, CA (June 24, 2020) – Sunday night, a two-vehicle crash on Parthenia Avenue hurt one person and damaged a fire hydrant.
 
Reports from the police revealed that one of the cars involved hit a hydrant after the crash. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department added that a gush of water came out of the hydrant.
 
As a result, Parthenia Avenue and Corbin Street were flooded. According to reports, the crash occurred just outside the Northridge Plaza Shopping Center.
 
The LAPD added that the hydrant spouted water several stories high for more than an hour.
 
Moreover, the LAPD, LAFD, and Los Angeles came to the crash scene to fix the hydrant.
 
Furthermore, the LAPD confirmed that the crash hurt one person. However, the said victim remained awake following the incident.
