2 People Hurt in San Angelo Auto Accident on East 24th and Pecan Street
SAN ANGELO, TX (February 23, 2024) – Thursday afternoon, an alarming two-vehicle crash on East 24th and Pecan Street injured two people.
The incident happened at the intersection of East 24th and Pecan Street.
According to San Angelo Police Department Officer L. Kvittem, a westbound white Chevy Camaro failed to yield the right-of-way from the stop sign and collided with a southbound red Honda Civic.
Moreover, responders confirmed that two people sustained injuries in the crash, including the female driver of the Camaro who was transported to Shannon Medical Center for further treatment.
Furthermore, authorities cited the driver of the Camaro for failure to yield the right-of-way from the stop sign.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the San Angelo Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
