Paso Robles Two-Vehicle Crash Damages Gas Pump on Spring Street
PASO ROBLES, CA (May 13, 2020) – Last Saturday, an auto accident damaged two trucks and a gas pump on Spring Street in Paso Robles.
The Paso Robles Police Department clarified that the incident didn’t cause any injury.
According to the police, a red truck driver was refueling when a black truck collided with the vehicle. When the driver of the black truck tried to use the left turn lane to drove past another vehicle, he ended up veering into the gas station to prevent a head-on crash.
The police revealed that the black truck driver was traveling north on Spring Street. He attempted to use the two-way left-turn lane to drove past a vehicle, however, the vehicle accelerated. The truck driver then noticed that the two-way left turn was already occupied.
The driver of the black truck veered into the oncoming traffic and attempted to make a left turn on Seventh Street. Unfortunately, due to the speed, the truck swung toward the gas station.
Due to this, the black truck crashed into the red truck and wrecked a gas pump, the police confirmed.
Meanwhile, the police do not believe that drugs and alcohol played a role in the collision.
