Three Injured in Speed Boat Crash near the Edmonds Ferry Dock
EDMONDS, WA (September 2, 2019) – Two speedboats collided in a crash near the Edmonds Ferry Dock on Monday evening.
According to the South County Fire, the accident happened near Main Street at approximately 8:40 PM. Based on an initial report, a 14-foot pleasure boat and another small boat collided. The engine of one of the boats was ripped due to impact.
The paramedics arrived for medical assistance. At least three people suffered minor injuries. Two of them were taken to Edmonds Hospital for treatment.
An initial investigation shows that one boat driver was operating at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash. There is no word yet if any charges will be filed.
