Man and Woman Hurt after Marysville Car Accident on 79th Avenue
MARYSVILLE, WA (July 2, 2019) – A man and woman sustained serious injuries after a car crash on 79th Avenue, in Marysville on Thursday.
At around 6 a.m., police and medics rushed to the scene near 79th Avenue NE and 40th Street NE, according to Marysville Fire District.
Officers found a heavily damaged red Honda at the bottom of an embankment with two people trapped inside. They extricated both occupants from the car.
The vehicle’s male occupant suffered critical injuries in the incident, and the woman had serious injuries. Paramedics transported both to the hospital.
Officers believed that the crash victims were in their 20s.
The circumstances that lead to the crash are under investigation.
