2 Hurt in Kent Car Accident
KENT, WA (May 13, 2019) – Two people sustained serious injuries in a head-on crash on Kent Kangley Road on May 9.
The medics and King County deputies came to the 26400 block of SE Kent Kangley Road near Ravensdale, at around 11:30 a.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that one vehicle drove across the center-line. As a result, the car crashed head-on with the other vehicle.
Upon their arrival, they located two crashed vehicles. The drivers sustained “serious to potentially critical injuries,” King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Ryan Abbott said.
Medical responders transported the two to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle – one of them via airlift helicopter.
Both the drivers solely occupied their vehicles. However, authorities are not considering drugs or alcohol as a factor in the crash.
Police shut down Kent Kangley Road during the cleanup and investigation.
