Two Separate Accidents Occur on 5 Freeway [Wasco, CA]

Major Injuries Sustained in One Collision near Main Drain Road

WASCO, CA (December 26, 2018) – Two separate accidents occurred on southbound 5 Freeway, Wednesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 9:55 AM, just south of Main Drain Road. Based on their report, both incidents involved two vehicles.

The southbound lane was shutdown to give way to an air ambulance needed to transport a motorist from the first incident. The paramedics had recorded major injuries sustained by the victim. Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the second incident.

Towing services were requested for cleaning and clearing operations were performed in the area. No further details have been disclosed to the public, as the investigation continues.
