Two Collisions Reported near Monte Vista Avenue
MONTCLAIR, CA (February 19, 2019) – Two semi-trucks were involved in accidents on westbound 10 Freeway, Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collisions took place around 5:30 AM, just east of Monte Vista Avenue. Based on their report, the first incident involved a big rig and a silver Nissan Altima, while the second case involved a big rig and a white truck.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They had not yet confirmed about any injury or complaint of pain from the involved motorists.
The No. 3 and No. 4 lanes were closed while a clearing operation was performed in the area. It was not clear if both incidents were related to each other. An investigation is ongoing to determine liabilities.
