Alger, WA (September 2, 2022) – Yesterday, two motorcycle riders sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.

The authorities responded to the northbound freeway at Lake Samish Road at about 12:30 p.m.

According to the officers investigating this case, a 21-year-old Bellingham man was driving a Ford Transit van approaching a slowdown in a construction zone. The driver failed to slow down and collided with two motorcycles and two pickup trucks.

Right away, the paramedics rushed both of the motorcyclists to Skagit Valley Hospital with one of them suffering from critical.

The three other drivers, on the other hand, were not hurt in the incident.
