2 Killed in Monday Morning Crash on Highway 7 North of Morton
Morton, WA (January 26, 2021) On Monday, 2 people were killed in a fatal vehicular crash on State Route 7 just north of Morton.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) Troopers and medics were on the scene at about 8 a.m. responding to the crash near Summit Creek in Lewis County.
Meanwhile, responders say they found two vehicles with heavy damages.
Additionally, two victims are dead on the scene, due to the crash.
Furthermore, cleaning and investigating the crash have made all lanes of Highway 7 impassible.
Authorities say that no detours are available during the cleanup and motorists are to steer clear of the area.
Although roadways were icy in the area at the time of the crash, troopers did not consider it as a factor for the crash.
