Two Passengers Injured in Highway 1 Tractor Crash [Santa Maria, CA]

Santa Maria, CA (August 25, 2022) – At about 4:43 a.m. today, two people sustained injuries in a Highway 1 tractor crash.

Reports say a Toyota Prius crashed with a farm tractor along the freeway north of Ray Road.

Officers mentioned that the tractor was northbound while a Prius was southbound on the freeway. They say the two vehicles collided due to heavy fog.

Two passengers in the Prius sustained injuries. One of them sustained severe injuries while the other suffered minor injuries. Immediately, the paramedics rushed both of them to Marian Regional Medical Center.
