Two Children Critically Wounded near Vermont Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 10, 2018) – Two minors were injured in a two-car crash on West Florence Avenue, early Monday morning. The identities and ages of the children have not yet been released to the public.
According to officials, the accident occurred around 1:00 AM, at the intersection of West Florence and Vermont Avenues. As per reports, the two vehicles collided head-on, but the events leading up to the accident are unclear. One vehicle reportedly lost control after the crash and struck a nearby utility pole.
Los Angeles Fire Department officials stated that two children were transported to Harbor UCLA in Torrance for treatment and evaluation. They were reported to be in critical condition. One adult driver was transported to California Hospital and is believed to be the person of interest. His current medical condition is unclear at this time.
