Driver and Passenger Surrender in High-Speed Chase on East Orange Grove Boulevard
PASADENA, CA (June 28, 2018) – Two men were arrested Thursday evening following a high-speed police chase on Marengo Avenue, near the 210 Freeway.
There were no reports on when the chase began, but it ended at about 8:50 PM. Before the police attempted to stop the suspects’ speeding vehicle, a collision took place between another car on Fruit Street, at the 210 Freeway in La Verne.
The driver and the passenger pulled over in the area of Marengo Avenue and East Orange Grove Boulevard, where they surrendered and were taken into custody. Two other people, who were dropped off in Rancho Cucamonga, were suspected to be involved in the case, but it was unclear if those people were also located and arrested.
No serious injuries were reported by the authorities. The identities of the people involved in the chase were not immediately available to the public.
