Semi-Truck Crash on State Route 86 Kills Two, Injures Two

 
Coachella, CA (May 13, 2021) – On Thursday, two died and two were injured in State Route 86 big rig crash.
 
The officers responded to the accident scene at about 10:50 a.m., south of Avenue 50.
 
When they arrived, they extricated one person from the wreckage.
 
The authorities said two were killed while rescuers took two to an area hospital for injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
 
Meanwhile, the officers closed southbound State Route 86 at Interstate 10 as crews removed the wreckage. The northbound direction was unaffected.
 
Similarly, Imperial Irrigation District crews were called to the accident scene to fix a damaged power pole.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the fatal accident.
