Two Dead after San Diego Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Miramar Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 4, 2019) — A car crash on 15 Freeway left two people dead and another person injured on Friday, November 1.
The double-fatal accident occurred around 11:10 p.m. on south 15 Freeway near the exit to Miramar Road and Pomerado Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, a small sedan crashed with a big rig or large pickup.
Two people, a man and woman, died at the scene, according to the firefighter and the Highway Patrol log.
San Diego firefighters sent a vehicle-rescue response, including two ambulances. Officials extricated one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles. Paramedic brought the victim to a hospital with unknown injuries, according to the official.
Authorities closed several lanes of the freeway after the incident.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
