Minivan Crashes Pole on Highway 101 in Los Angeles Killing Elderly Couple
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 29, 2020) – Two people were killed following a traffic accident Wednesday evening in Central Los Angeles.
The crash happened around 7:49 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just east of 10 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a dark red minivan was traveling along the highway when it hit a tree and a pole.
Officers arrived and found an elderly couple inside the car. Both were unresponsive and died at the scene.
The crash shut down the transition road for about two hours and a SigAlert was issued in the area.
No identifying information is being released at this time. This fatal incident is still under investigation.
