Two Killed in Fiery Crash on Yakima Valley Highway [Yakima, WA]

Yakima, WA (January 15, 2022) – On Friday, two people lost their lives in a fiery crash on Yakima Valley Highway.

The fatal collision happened at the intersection with Dekker Road.

A witness said the vehicle was on fire before they used an extinguisher to sedate the flames. So that, the flames wouldn’t spread any further.

When the officers arrived at the crash scene, they found the two pickup trucks that collided head-on. 

The officers pronounced one of the victims already dead.

Moreover, reports said that one of the trucks have three occupants and the other has one. 

Right away, the rescuers used jaw of life to free the victims from being trapped.

However, another victim passed away as the authorities are rescuing them. 

Then, the paramedics took the two remaining victim to nearby hospitals for emergency medical attention.

The responding officers are investigating the fiery crash on Yakima Valley Highway.
