Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Boadway at Escondido Intersection Leaves Two Drivers Dead

 
Escondido, CA (December 21, 2020) – Sunday night, two drivers, both from Escondido died in a two-vehicle crash on Broadway and Country Club Drive.
 
The Escondido fatal crash happened at 9:51 p.m. on December 20.
 
Escondido police reported a two-vehicle collision involving a 1990 Nissan 300ZX and a 2006 Volvo S40.
 
Reportedly, the 300ZX was heading south on Broadway and the Volvo heading eastbound on Country Club Drive when they both collided at the intersection.
 
However, it was unclear who had the right-of-way. The impact killed both drivers.
 
The Nissan driver, a 20-year-old man did not wear a seatbelt, the other driver identified as a 42-year-old woman.
 
Both identities are being withheld pending the completion of family notifications.
 
Police could not confirm yet if drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision.
