Two Semi-Trucks Collide near Chrisman Road
TRACY, CA (August 14, 2018) – Two truck drivers were injured Tuesday morning, following a semi-truck crash on 580 Freeway. The victims’ identities and places of residence were not immediately released.
According to California Highway Patrol, a semi box truck carrying wooden pallets and a lumber truck collided with another truck at 7:15 AM, just east of Chrisman Road. The events leading up to the accident and the cause of the collision were not stated in the report.
First responders and paramedics arrived at the scene to find both drivers were injured in the incident. The severity of their injuries was undisclosed; it is unclear if they were hospitalized.
A SigAlert was issued in the area of the crash, closing the second lane while a clearing operation took place. No additional information has been released to the public, as the investigation continues by authorities.
